I'm very happy to welcome debut novelist and Youtube personality Robyn Schneider to the blog today to talk about the inspiration behind Severed Heads, Broken Hearts. This book is being pitched as being perfect for fans of John Green and I'm so excited to be reading this soon! In case this book isn't on your radar yet here's a little bit about what it's about...
"After witnessing his girlfriend in a “very friendly” position with a guy who is definitely not him, closely followed by a catastrophic car accident that shatters his leg along with his pro Tennis hopes, Ezra Faulkner returns to school for senior year, cast into social oblivion, a shadow of his former self. Ezra believes that everyone suffers a defining tragedy: it appears that his has just occurred.
But this new tragic self might have its own appeal, especially after he meets the clever, oddly sexy Cassidy Thorpe, a girl who launches him into a series of transformative adventures that help Ezra learn the truth about tragedy: unlike lightning, it can and will strike the same place twice."

Letterbox Love is a meme hosted by Lynsey @ Narratively Speaking for UK based book bloggers to showcase the books that they’ve received each week.
So last week I only received three books and I really wanted to do a vlog for you guys so I decided to hold off and group them together with this weeks books and this week I received a LOT of books so this vlog is kind of lengthy! I had a lot of footage and had to edit a lot of it out so the haul is choppy in places. I’m not the best at editing and am still learning so although this isn’t the best vlog ever I hope you enjoy watching it anyway, I got some really exciting books over the past two weeks!
If any of these books have caught your eye and you’d like to find out more about them simply click on the title and the link will take you to Goodreads for a full synopsis, reviews, and to add them to your wishlists. As always thank you to the lovely publishing folk for the review copies. If you’re looking forward to a certain book in particular and want to request a review feel free to in the comments and I’ll do my best to get around to the book sooner rather than later. And if you decided to do a Letterbox Love, Book Haul, IMM, Showcase Sunday, Mailbox Monday or whatever else featuring the books you got this week leave me a link as I’d love to check out your books too! ^_^
March's Book of the Month is Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare
I'm not surprised in the slightest that this is my favourite book of March. The Infernal Devices is one of my all time favourite series and this was such a beautiful moving conclusion. Clockwork Princess is without a doubt my favourite book of 2013 so far. I don't want to talk about it too much with it being the last book in a series other than to say I was blown away by it and if you haven't read this series yet YOU MUST!!!! Check out my SPOILER REVIEW for more of my thoughts.

Hey guys! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I know I said that my giveaway was going to be the last post of the year but I thought it might be cool to share with you some of the things I got for Christmas that are either books or books/blogging/reading/writing related in an informal chatty style vlog. I decided to separate them into parts. Part One is purely books and Part Two bookish gifts in case any of you are just interested in watching one or the other and to save it from being one long video. I personally love being nosey at stuff like this so hopefully you’ll enjoy being nosey too!
The Books I Got For Christmas (Part One)
Bookish Things I Got For Christmas (Part Two)
I hope you enjoyed the vlogs! Happy New Year everyone and I’ll see you in 2013!
So if you follow me on Twitter you may have heard the news that I got into the last 10 of the Mira INK competition which I was beyond thrilled about! There were so many amazing entries that I didn’t think for one moment I’d make the top 10 and go through to round two, but here I am.
So here’s the part where I need YOUR help. The competition is to win a year’s paid contract with Mira INK as their book blogger (don’t worry if I win I’ll still be blogging here too! No way am I giving up my baby) plus a laptop or ipad. This is a dream come true for me but for this next stage I can’t do it without your help.
We’ve had to make a 60 second vlog explaining why we think we should win and in this stage it’s all about getting love for your video, likes, comments, views, I need to reach out to as many people as I can. So I ask you this, if you’ve ever enjoyed a post on this blog, if I’ve ever helped you find a book, you could say the biggest thank you ever by simply going and watching this video, liking it and leaving a comment showing your support. You guys have the ability to make my dreams come true and I can’t begin to tell you how grateful I would be.
The Monthly TBR meme is hosted by Booksessed and since I already do these video's I thought why not link up this month?
You guys liked it so here I am again with another monthly to be read pile video! So this is me squeezing in as many Christmas books and exciting 2012 releases before the years over, enjoy!

These are the books I received over the past two weeks, there are quite a lot of them so I decided now would be a good time to do my very first vlog so I could talk about them a little bit more, I know the quality's not very good but bare with me as I'm still learning and getting the hang of this vlogging thing! I'd love to know whether you prefer a vlog or my usual pictures so let me know! :)
